"I've always been attracted to the mundane and often overlooked surroundings of everyday life.  In this series, I tried to focus on revealing the intrinsic beauty of places that would otherwise be old, unsightly and abandoned.  I've always admired the work of Stephen Shore, William Eggleston and Martin Parr who create compelling photographs of their ordinary surroundings".
